How to Apply for a GCash Mastercard Online Anywhere in the Philippines

Eventhough, GCash Mastercard cannot be availed in the Philippines nationwide directly from Globe because for now they only offer it during their caravan events, there are some people who has connection to Globe GCash staff, offering their services online for a minimal fee.

I knew because I ordered four (4) accounts and in 3days, I got my cards already activated. That's right! I did not nominate a Globe/TM mobile number, so they gave me a new TM SIM and they linked it already to my GCash Mastercard.

I am glad the cards are real. I knew that 'cause I have them linked to our Paypal accounts and 3 of the cards were used to verify our Paypal account successfully.

Ok, so now you are interested. Below are the steps and procedures on how to get your GCash Mastercard online. No need to go anywhere in Globe outlets  and fall in line.

STEP 1: REQUIREMENTS

•  PHP 150 processing fee.
• Your shipping fee depends on your location - pls leave a comment about your delivery address to get the exact amount.
• Scanned copy of your VALID ID.
• A clear, solo picture of yourself.

STEP 2: YOUR ACCOUNT DETAILS

• First Name:
• Middle Name:
• Lastname:
• Birthdate:
• Complete Address:
• Mobile #:

STEP 3: SHIPPING DETAILS

• Receiver's name:
• Delivery Address:

The package includes a manual on how to activate your GCash Mastercard, a TM SIM already GCash-registered , your prepaid GCash Mastercard and your TEMPORARY PIN. You need to change it immediately after receiving the card. The instruction on how to change the PIN is written on the card manual.

Note: DO NOT activate the card by following the card manual because it is already activated. If you try out of your curiosity, it will ask you to enter your PIN but it will not worked. Three attempt will blocked your PIN and to reset it, you need to call 2882.

A MUST-READ: You need to undergo the Know-Your-Customer (KYC) process in any Globe outlet before you can use your GCash account. Below are the requirements for the KYC process.

• Personal appearance of the account holder.
• A VALID ID.
• The cellphone where a GCash-registered SIM is inserted.
• Minimum load of 10 pesos. 

HOW TO KYC YOUR GCASH ACCOUNT

Step 1: Go to any GLOBE Outlet. Tell the frontliner staff that you want a form for KYC. Fill-up the form and just leave the area asking you details of the sender/receiver of GCash. Just write "for KYC".

Step 2: Get your PRIORITY Number and wait for your turn.

Step 3: When your number is called/displayed on the monitor, go to the teller serving your number and give the form you have filled up on Step 1. The teller will ask for your valid ID. Also have your cellphone ready so that if he/she will send a text asking for your PIN, you can immediately reply within 5 minutes. A picture of you and your valid ID will be taken.

After replying the Globe message asking for your PIN, you will get a reply confirmation about the KYC process. Then the teller will tell you that it's done. Don't worry, you will not pay a thing. It's FREE.

So the KYC process is done, what now? Now, you can use your GCash account either sending or receiving money and other services offered by GCash. You can also now use your GCash Mastercard as a debit/credit card. You only need to have sufficient balance for your transactions to go through.

The tutorial above is intended only for GCash Mastercard holders that availed their cards through me/ or through my agent. For those that availed in any other means, please ask your seller if the card has been activated already, and if not, you must activate it yourself by following the card manual instruction sent to you together with the GCash Mastercard.
